All Evil Night is a first-person shooter game situated in a horrific atmosphere. In this respect, the game feels like just another version of the old Doom.
The game is composed of 13 levels, which should take you around an hour to complete. There are different kinds of enemies, such as spiders and skeletons, each of them with unique powers. Likewise, you can choose a difficulty level, depending on your skills or how much you want to feel challenged.
Just like with Doom, what I really like about the game is not fighting against all sorts of demons, but finding my way through a sort of maze, which involves searching for door keys and ammo as well as unveiling the secrets in each level.
Although this game may be conceptually right, there are multiple things that could be fixed. Although I understand the action is supposed to take place in the darkness, the scenes are sometimes so dark that you can hardly see anything, which could even be harmful to your eyesight. On top of that, it is difficult to get rid of monsters, not because you are not aiming well but because something must be wrong with the hitboxes. Unfortunately, health and ammunition levels cannot be reset with each new level. Finally, the sounds are not synchronized with the actions at times.
All in all, All Evil Night allows you to entertain yourself for a while, even if it is not the best option. However, some of the problems mentioned before can lead to frustration, so I would not be surprised if some players quit the game well before completing their mission. The product is available from Steam at a very reasonable price. Besides, there are sequels of this game you may want to try as well.
